- Greetings, my name is Rah Kalon.
Emotional Intelligence Consultant and Poet.
And the piece I have for you today is called, Mosaic.
I trust you will resonate.
I am piecing it all together now.
The heavy and the light of it.
The rockiness and the flow.
I carry my joy and my grief in the same bucket now.
I, bashfully see my insecurities as the freckles of perfection in a mosaic bigger than I can sometimes understand.
I am wrapped in the trauma rhapsody of my inner children's wailing and my warrior ancestor's, howls, growls and roars.
Take heed, see, I am the queen beast and the vulnerable baby girl.
And I seek refuge for both.
I am at awe, at my emotional capacity, my poise, my grit and my tenacity.
I am a powerhouse healing being.
And no one can take me from me.
I ache for what I didn't know, when I didn't know it.
Yet, with the same throat chakra, laugh at my past theatrics lovingly.
As if to say, oh, girl, you had it coming.
Don't you know you create your own reality.
Innocence died screaming long ago.
I am the 2.0.
Patchwork beauty of my lineage.
Gene pools, evolving from shallow waters and undertows that finally learned that energy cannot be created, nor destroyed.
I messed around and found out that I am the void.
The thing that I've been fearing, I see it in me now.
And it is beautiful.
It is terrifying.
Our power knows no bounds.
And it is me and I am it and it is all here.
We are all here.
I am all here.
So I surrender into myself.
And I finally snuggle up to the notion, that maybe, just maybe, me not knowing what's next, well it is, to my, benefit.
